ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrival at ktm. We will be received by our staff in Kathmandu and transferred to the Hotel located in the heart of Thamel, here you can relax or go out to explore the surroundings where you will find delicious food from all over the world and fabulous handicraft and mountain clothing shops. Free night.
DAY 2
You will depart to Lukla (2800 m) on an early morning flight. This flight from Kathmandu, lasting just 35 minutes, will give you your first glimpse of the Himalayas of the Everest region. Please note that you will be boarding your flight from Ramechhap during the months of April, May, October and November. Your real trek begins at Lukla.
DAY 3
Your final destination for today's trek is Namche Bazaar. Initially, the trail descends from Phakding to a suspension bridge over the Dudh-Kosi River. After a series of ups and downs we will reach the river itself.
DAY 4
As this is a high altitude trek, you will spend this day acclimatizing at Namche Bazaar. You can join a short uphill trek to the headquarters of Sagarmatha National Park. Or you can visit the Sagarmatha National Park Museum. This historical museum has a wealth of information related to the Himalayas, their culture, religion and the rich history of mountaineering.
DAY 5
Leaving Namche Bazaar that day, you will walk 20 minutes uphill until you reach a ridge at the top of Namche Bazaar. After a gentle descent, you will reach Phungitenga (3250 m). An uphill walk of about 2 hours from Phungitenta will take you to Thyangboche Gomba (Monastery).
DAY 6
The initial trail from Dingboche takes you through forests of birch, spruce, juniper and rhododendron as you walk downhill. The trail then winds gently uphill to the village of Pangboche (3,900 m). If you continue walking you will reach Shomare where you can get some close views of Mount Ama-Dablam. As you walk along the northeast side of Shomare, you will come to a small bridge that will take you to the Imja Tse Valley. From Imja Tse, you will walk to Dingboche, a beautiful and picturesque Sherpa village.
DAY 7
Today is another acclimatization day for the short Everest trek where you will stay in Dingboche. To adapt your body to the changes in altitude you can take short walks around the town or climb Nagarjuna Hill.
DAY 8
You will embark on a gentle uphill walk to Prayer Ridge, which offers wonderful views of the village of Pheriche. As you walk from the ridge, you will reach Thugla. After an hour of demanding uphill hiking, you will reach the ridge of Thugla Pass. After walking for an hour from Thugla Pass, you will reach Lobuche.
DAY 9
Today you will hike to Everest Base Camp, located at an altitude of 5,357 meters. After an hour-long hike, you'll walk along a steep rocky moraine. The glacial ponds and icebergs of the Khumbu Glacier are visible from the moraine. A short walk downhill from the moraine will take you to Gorak Shep. The trail to Base Camp is full of rocky dunes, moraines and streams.
DAY 10
We will have the morning to enjoy the city of Santiago and take advantage of shopping. At noon we will take the high-speed train to Madrid and we will conclude our services. We also give you the alternative of traveling to Madrid by Van Mercedes, visiting medieval towns, Puebla de Sanabria, Cuellar, having lunch in a cave/winery in Valladolid, passing through Segovia before arriving in Madrid.
DAY 11
This day will be useful if there are flight delays due to bad weather in Lukla. We can also arrange a Kathmandu sightseeing tour if there are no delays due to weather. As Kathmandu is home to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, you can take a tour of these places on that day. Many temples and monasteries in Kathmandu, such as Pashupatinath,
DAY 12
Our airport representative will escort you to Kathmandu International Airport to take your flight back home from Nepal.
